It's time to Morning Schmooze!

Calling all early risers! Join us bright & early on Thursday, September 10 at the Poco Inn & Suites for some morning schmoozin'. This event is hosted in a guided "speed-networking" style. In your table groups, each person is given an opportunity to deliver a short elevator pitch. A bell will ring to cue everyone to switch tables, ensuring you'll have the chance to meet everyone in the room.

Come network with other Chamber members and have a chance to meet your next client, customer or business partner! Make new contacts and expand your network all while enjoying a delicious breakfast buffet. You never know who you will meet at a Schmooze so make sure to arrive ready to network with your best one-minute self-introduction. Don't forget to bring your business cards!

NOTE: This is a Chamber members-only event! Members can bring a non-member guest by purchasing a second member ticket when registering. We just ask that the guest is new and has not been to a Morning Schmooze event before.

How to Perfect your Elevator Pitch

An elevator pitch is a brief, persuasive speech that you use to spark interest in what your organization does. You can also use it to create interest in a project, idea, or product, or in yourself. A good elevator pitch should last no longer than a short elevator ride of 20 to 30 seconds, hence the name. They should be interesting, memorable, and succinct. They also need to explain what makes you or your organization unique.
