Dragon boating is more than a sport for us. It’s how we connect with each other, perfect the rhythm of moving as one, and enjoy the inlet we paddle on.
Every paddle stroke starts with awareness — of the water beneath us, the people around us, and the place we call home.
We paddle out of Rocky Point Park in Port Moody, on sheltered inlet waters that reward patience, timing, and teamwork.
Conditions change with tide, weather, and season — teaching us to listen, adjust, and move together. This is where beginners learn their first stroke, where crews find their rhythm, and where our teams prepare for racing.
A dragon boat only moves well when everyone understands their role. Timing matters. Trust matters. Listening matters.
Whether you are a new paddler or a seasoned racer, every seat in the boat contributes to how the boat runs — and how the team feels when it crosses the finish line.
